Hunt Medical Services has been in business for 10 years and counting. Our company provides quality lab draw services in the homes and offices of thousands of clients. Our staff has over 20 years of experience in health care and drawing blood. We are fully trained, qualified, skilled technicians. We strive to improve wellness in the community everyday by providing a service to those who need it the most.

Routine or Stat Lab Draws

Our experienced and compassionate phlebotomists will collect your samples when and where it is convenient for you.

INR testing done at home

In-home testing is convenient. It allows patients to test their INR levels without the need for frequent visits to a lab.

Medication Level Testing

A medicine blood level test measures how much of your medicine is in your blood.

Mobile Lab Testing

We provide mobile phlebotomy services in Maryland and nationwide to patients within the comfort of their homes, offices, or health clinics.

Transporting Specimens

Our experience enables us to adapt to every environment, and ensure the integrity of our tests. Specimens are hand delivered to the patient’s insurance preferred lab.

Fasting Required Tests

Some blood tests require fasting (not eating any food) for 8 to 12 hours before the test. Your doctor will tell you how to prepare for your blood test(s

For Mobile Blood Draws in Maryland

What is included in the at-home test?

If you have been provided with a kit for specialized laboratory testing, follow the collection procedures for at home collection. Your kit contains forms, instructions and supplies.

Inside the specimen kit provided you will find:

  • Specimen collection and preparation instructions
  • Specimen collection supplies
  • Prepaid shipping envelope
  • Shipping Instructions (we take care of shipping the specimens to the appropriate labs)

If your kit comes with a freezer pack, please put the freezer pack in the freezer in advance so it will be cold when your specimen is collected.

Fees may vary depending on service area and specimen handling.

Please be sure to fill out the patient information, insurance and payment portion of the lab slip. Read the test preparation instructions inside the kit. Also, make a copy of your health insurance card to send with the specimen for billing health insurance.

Hunt Medical Services, Inc. (HMS) is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all proprietary information according to existing laws and standards. We comply with all applicable privacy and security laws and regulations, including the applicable aspects of the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.

Specimens are sent to designated laboratory by a courier or express mail. Your health care provider receives results from the laboratory. The laboratory also will bill your insurance company for blood testing.

Please note, your insurance does NOT cover the lab draw and transportation.<

Please be aware, payment is due at the time of service, unless billing arrangements are made in advance. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover or personal check. You may also be able to use your flex spending card but you should check first with your provider.
